Whilst these amber streams of light spread warmth within your veins, the silken moonlight takes the heat. The scent of the most precious blossoms of spring enriches the air and the very first flake of snow dances its way down from the sky onto your nose. Open your eyes now - you are free. Hej. My name is Marjus, twenty years of age, hailing from Germany’s northernmost parts. This is my home and home has a very special place in my heart, each tree in the forest and each wave in the fjord give its meaning to it. While the heart is rooted deeply in the native grounds of Schleswig-Holstein, the soul likes to linger after distant lands, to yearn for the north. Skandinavia. Denmark, the door to it, is just around the corner - therefor I use to practice my Danish tongue these days.
One could probably find a connection between my interest in history - especially German and European in general - and this certain heathen spirit on my mind. While reading ancient myths and sagas I feel this natural spirit that modern life misses. So I am trying to find it on my own - as it gives a lot to you: a feeling that cannot be replaced by anything.
I am a photographer, trying to portrait both the spirits of nature and human being. Sometimes in connection. Music is a love of my life. Even though I am not a musician myself, I couldn’t live without it. Whereever I am, it is always present. Either being played live on a concert, privately on a guitar, flute or drum, loudly from CD or just a beautiful melody on my mind. Sound is the structure to live a life on.
